' hey beautiful, i miss your face. why don't you come meet me down at the fair in town? ' after jon finished typing out his text to jenna, he hit the send button and shoved his iphone back into his pocket. He looked around the area as he sat on the bench infront of everything going on. Jonathan loved the fair as long as he had been here, he had always gone to the fair every year, so naturally he wasn't going to miss out on it either. But, Jon had been sitting here for twenty minutes, and he was alone, and he had walked half around looking at thing trying to keep his mind occupied. But, jenna seemed to occupy that too, of course.
jon smirk formed on his mug as he watched a little family playing over at the game center. The little blonde hair girl was playing pop the balloons with her dad, and she had the biggest smile on her face. Jon knew why. No, it wasn't that she was playing this game, and would get a prize at the end, it was because of who she was playing the game with. Jon remembered when he was that little and how playing a game with his father meant so much to him. He smiled, realizing that he was completely staring off into space and watching them like a stalker. He shook his head, and then smirked again. Yes, jon couldn't wait to have the feeling that man must have right now. He moved his legs, and replaced his feet so he was more comfortable sitting on the bench.
He didn't know if jenna would even answer him, or show up to hang out with him, but he really hoped she would. Jon had missed her, even know sometimes they were always on edge and seemed like they were going off the deep end. Jon did love jenna, but, of course, he wasn't one of those guys to settle down in a relationship anymore. He took a sigh, and looked around again trying to find something to entertain his time untill she came.

they say that time heals everything but they don't know you and the scars that you bring Jenna had been in her dorm room when her phone vibrated on her nightstand. To her surprise it was Jon, even though maybe it hadn't been all that surprising. She hadn't talked to him since the night outside of Baylee's house when ultimately they had gone their own ways that night. She could only imagine which girls room he had ended up in, but she tried not to think about it. She read the text from him and just stared at it for a moment, finally setting her phone back down, not replying to it. Sure, she would meet him at the town fair, but she wouldn't text him back, she'd let him sweat it out. Truthfully Jenna hadn't planned on going to the fair, she always used to go to the annual one with Jon just because he had loved it so much. She went with a casual looks because that was just how fairs were, and she could make a pair of plain denim shorts look really good anyway. She paid her own way into the fair, it was pretty crowded so it took her some time to even spot Jon. Maybe it would have been easier just to text him, but she knew that easy wasn't always the way to go about things. When she finally saw him sitting on a bench she approached him. She pushed her sunglasses from her face to the top of her head so that they held her hair back from her face. "What are you smiling about?" she asked when she reached him, he seemed to be grinning out at some family, she wasn't too sure why. Or maybe he was just happy to be at the fair, she wasn't sure. She looked down at where he was sitting, a subtle smile on her face. Things between them had been rough lately, but somehow they always worked things out. She just hoped that someday they would work out and stay that way. tagged: brig / jon outfit: clickynotes: none!
